AMD Industries reported FY26 standalone net revenue of Rs 2,822 crore (up 2.1% from Rs 2,765 crore in FY25), but swung to a net loss of Rs 4.09 crore from a profit of Rs 1 crore in FY25. Q4 FY26 standalone net profit was Rs 1.30 crore. Consolidated results include Hindustan Autoplast Private Limited (acquired October 2025) with net loss of Rs 4.34 crore for FY26. Total income remained nearly flat at Rs 2,859 crore. The company has total borrowings of Rs 7.23 crore and negative operating cash flow of Rs 15.26 crore for the year. The statutory auditor gave an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
The significant turnaround from profit to loss in FY26 despite flat revenue growth is a concern for shareholders. The negative operating cash flow and increased working capital requirements (rising inventories and receivables) indicate operational stress. The stock may see negative reaction unless management provides clear guidance on profitability recovery.
