Amic Forging has informed BSE that renovation work at a factory unit it recently acquired from Bengal Hammer Industries Pvt. Ltd will commence shortly. The unit, measuring approximately 129 sq. metres, is expected to become operational for commercial production by 15th December 2025. The acquired unit is one of the largest rolling mills in Eastern India with a minimum production capacity of 150 tons per day. This acquisition will help the company utilise its ongoing capital expenditure in the casting centre more efficiently and enter the manufacturing of railway components such as fish plates, a new product line for the company.
This expansion diversifies Amic Forging into railway components and adds significant rolling mill capacity, potentially boosting future revenue. Near-term, investors should watch for timely commissioning by December 2025 and any cost overruns during renovation.
