Promoter Anand Rathi Financial Services Ltd (holding 19.92% or 1.65 crore shares in Anand Rathi Wealth) has re-submitted its Reg. 31(1) disclosure after fixing a clerical error in the May 21–26, 2026 filings. On May 22, 2026, it released a pledge of 44.23 lakh shares (5.33% of share capital) held with Yes Bank and created a fresh pledge of 40.98 lakh shares (4.94%) with Suresh Rathi Securities Pvt Ltd. Net encumbered shares post-event stand at just 3.25 lakh (0.39%), unchanged in substance. The underlying reason is routine collateral shifting between brokers for margin purposes; the earlier error involved mistakenly reporting G-Sec release in place of share release. Total encumbered value is around Rs. 116.86 crore against a loan of Rs. 104.25 crore (cover ratio 1.12).
No real change in promoter's economic interest or total pledged exposure - it is only a broker swap. Investors should not read this as any sell/buy signal, but the corrected filing removes confusion from the earlier faulty disclosure.
