Burnpur Cement has filed copies of newspaper advertisements (published on 12 November 2025 in Business Standard and Ekdin) containing its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended 30 September 2025, as required under SEBI Listing Regulation 30. On a standalone basis, Q2 FY26 revenue stood at Rs 17.24 crore vs Rs 36.08 crore in Q2 FY25, while profit after tax fell sharply to Rs 1.30 crore from Rs 28.28 crore a year ago. Total comprehensive income for the quarter swung to a loss of Rs 14.97 crore versus a positive Rs 64.07 crore in Q2 FY25. On a consolidated basis, the company reported a marginal loss after tax of about Rs 0.03 crore in Q2 FY26 versus a profit of Rs 30.82 crore in Q2 FY25. For H1 FY26, standalone PAT declined to Rs 9.93 crore from Rs 45.18 crore in H1 FY25. The board approved the results at its meeting held on 11 November 2025.
Sharply lower year-on-year revenues and profits, combined with a swing to negative total comprehensive income on both standalone and consolidated bases, signal a weak quarter for shareholders. The filing itself is routine regulatory disclosure, but the underlying numbers are likely to be viewed negatively by the market.
