Bank of Maharashtra submitted its Annual Report for FY 2024-25 to BSE and NSE. The bank reported strong growth with total business rising 15.30% to ₹5,46,979 crore, driven by deposits up 13.44% to ₹3,07,143 crore and gross advances up 17.76% to ₹2,39,837 crore. Net profit jumped 36.12% to ₹5,520 crore, while operating profit grew 16.41% to ₹9,319 crore and net interest income rose 18.77% to ₹11,666 crore. Asset quality improved with gross NPA falling to 1.74% and net NPA to 0.18%, while capital adequacy remained strong at 20.53%. The board proposed a dividend of ₹1.50 per share (15%). The bank expanded its network to 2,606 branches and 2,402 ATMs and highlighted digital transformation and ESG initiatives.
Strong financial performance with significant profit growth, improved asset quality, robust capital position, and a higher dividend should be positive for shareholders. The annual report confirms the bank's strong operational momentum heading into FY 2025-26.
