Antony Waste Handling Cell reported a strong Q1 FY26 with operating revenue of ~Rs. 224 crores (up 13% YoY), EBITDA of Rs. 62 crores (up 12% YoY) at 24% margins, and PAT of Rs. 23 crores (up 8% YoY). Total waste handled reached 1.33 million tons, up 13% YoY, with collection & transportation (C&T) at 0.52 million tons and processing at 0.81 million tons. The waste-to-energy (WTE) plant at PCMC operated at 84% plant load factor (PLF) and generated over 25 million green units, with 20% of first-year EPR credit allocation monetized. A key positive was the Supreme Court staying the Bombay High Court order on the Kanjurmarg landfill, preserving concessionaire rights for subsidiary Antony Lara. Gross debt stood at ~Rs. 448 crores with net debt-to-equity at 0.4x, and the company repaid ~Rs. 60-62 crores of debt during the quarter.
Positive for shareholders — the Supreme Court stay removes a major overhang on the Kanjurmarg operations, Q1 results show steady growth across verticals, and active debt reduction strengthens the balance sheet. The stock may get a modest lift on clarity around legal risks and confirmed growth trajectory.
