Edelweiss Infrastructure Yield Plus, an associate of the Sponsor of Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust, sold 26,00,000 units of the Trust on the stock exchanges through two on-market transactions. On September 22, 2025, 9,25,000 units were sold on BSE for about ₹10.64 crore, and on September 23, 2025, 16,75,000 units were sold on BSE and NSE for about ₹19.26 crore. The total sale value was approximately ₹29.90 crore. As a result, the associate's holding in the Trust came down from 3,65,75,000 units (18.64%) to 3,39,75,000 units (17.32%), a reduction of about 1.32 percentage points.
The Sponsor's associate has trimmed its holding by selling units worth roughly ₹30 crore on the market, which may be viewed as a mild negative signal by unit holders given the size and the fact that this is a sponsor-related entity exiting units. However, the post-sale holding still remains sizeable at 17.32%, so the sponsor group's overall commitment is not materially weakened.
