Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust received a credit rating review from CRISIL Ratings on December 16, 2025. CRISIL reaffirmed its highest safety rating of CRISIL AAA/Stable across all four debt instruments: three Non-Convertible Debenture tranches of Rs. 775 crore, Rs. 700 crore, and Rs. 300 crore, plus a Rupee Term Loan of Rs. 620 crore from India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited. The total rated debt is Rs. 2,395 crore. Notably, one NCD tranche was reduced from Rs. 750 crore to Rs. 300 crore, indicating partial debt prepayment. AAA/Stable is the highest credit quality on CRISIL's scale, signifying the lowest credit risk and the highest degree of safety for timely servicing of financial obligations.
The reaffirmation of the top-tier AAA rating confirms the Trust's strong creditworthiness and low default risk, which is positive for existing unitholders and debenture holders. The reduction in one NCD tranche suggests active liability management and partial debt repayment, which is generally favorable for unit holders as it reduces future interest obligations.
