CRISIL Ratings has reaffirmed the credit rating of Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust at CRISIL AAA/Stable across all its debt instruments. The total rated bank loan facilities have been enhanced significantly to Rs. 2,509.66 crore from Rs. 974.66 crore previously. This includes Rs. 1,775 crore in Non-Convertible Debentures (Rs. 775 crore, Rs. 700 crore, and Rs. 300 crore tranches), term loans of Rs. 974.66 crore, and a proposed term loan of Rs. 1,535 crore for refinancing KTL acquisition debt. The reaffirmation reflects the trust's stable revenue profile from transmission and solar assets, healthy debt service coverage ratio, and strong operational performance with line availability above 98% and solar PLF of 22.74%. The outlook remains Stable.
The reaffirmation at the highest credit rating indicates low default risk for bondholders and NCD investors. The significant increase in rated debt facilities reflects the trust's expansion through acquisitions, which appears credit-positive given the stable cash flows from long-term power sale agreements averaging 16-21 years remaining.
