Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust has informed the Exchange regarding Unitholding pattern post capital restructuring
Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust has issued new units through a preferential issue under SEBI InvIT Regulations, increasing total outstanding units from about 19.62 crore to 25.57 crore (roughly a 30% expansion of the unit base). As a result, the sponsor group's holding was diluted from 23.52% to 16.31% of total units, while public unitholding now stands at 83.69%. Bodies Corporates emerged as the largest public unitholder category at 54.91%, followed by Individuals at 15.82% and Insurance Companies at 3.89%. The AIF category saw its share drop sharply from 33.25% to 11.54%, reflecting rebalancing across investor types post-issue.
The preferential issue brings fresh capital into the InvIT while spreading unit ownership wider; existing unitholders, including the sponsor, are diluted, which may be mildly negative for sponsor-aligned voting control but positive if fresh capital is deployed into new infrastructure assets.
