India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) has affirmed the IND AAA/Stable rating on Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust's long-term issuer rating, a rupee term loan of INR 6,200 million, and existing non-convertible debentures of INR 14,500 million. Additionally, a fresh IND AAA/Stable rating has been assigned to proposed non-convertible debentures of INR 7,750 million. Existing NCDs include instruments maturing in 2025, 2027, and 2028 with coupons ranging from 7.77% to 8.34%. The rupee term loan is from India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL). All ratings carry a Stable outlook, indicating the agency expects no near-term change in credit quality.
This is positive for unit holders and debenture holders as the highest investment-grade AAA rating has been maintained, signalling strong credit quality. The new rating on proposed NCDs of INR 7,750 million indicates upcoming fundraising plans, which could modestly impact unit price depending on use of proceeds.
