Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust disclosed its updated unitholding pattern following a preferential issue of units. The total units outstanding increased from 25,57,18,900 to 33,60,62,900 units, representing an increase of approximately 8.03 crore units. The Sponsor group's holding decreased from 28.95% to 27.72% of the total units, indicating dilution of the sponsor's stake due to new unit issuance. Public unitholders now hold 71.05% of total units, up from the prior holding. Insurance companies hold 1,03,60,100 units (3.08%), while NBFCs hold 5,41,00,000 units (16.10%) and bodies corporate hold 11,82,93,000 units (35.20%).
The sponsor's stake fell below 28%, signalling dilution from the preferential issue. Existing unitholders who did not participate in the issue have seen their percentage holding reduced, while the sponsor group continues to hold well below the 50% threshold.
