Apar Industries reported strong Q1FY26 results with consolidated revenue up 27.3% YoY at Rs. 5,104 crore and profit after tax up 30% at Rs. 263 crore (margin 5.2%). The Conductor Division led growth, with revenue rising 44% YoY, US revenues up 83%, and EBITDA per metric ton improving to Rs. 43,688 from Rs. 38,532. The Cables segment grew 36% to Rs. 1,419 crore, aided partly by US pre-buying ahead of the August 1 tariff deadline. The Oil business was flat on revenue but saw 8.1% volume growth, with the export mix dipping due to project execution delays in Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Australia. Total order book stands at Rs. 7,779 crore (conductor) and Rs. 1,653 crore (cables), with Rs. 3,135 crore in fresh conductor orders during the quarter. Management maintained conductor EBITDA guidance of Rs. 30,000/MT plus tailwinds and cable value growth guidance of 25%, with a Rs. 1,300 crore capex plan through June 2026.
Strong quarter with management holding guidance despite US tariff uncertainty; robust order pipeline of over Rs. 9,400 crore provides solid revenue visibility, though Chinese subsidy pressure (8-12%) and pending India-US trade deal remain near-term overhangs on export realisations.
