Apar Industries' board, at its meeting on March 18, 2026, approved two transactions. First, an additional capital contribution of up to USD 5 million into its wholly owned US subsidiary, APAR USA LLC (formerly CEMA Wires & Cables LLC), to support its conductors and cables business. APAR USA LLC, incorporated in April 2022, has reported nil turnover over the last three years. Second, the company will invest approximately Rs. 10.76 crores in its associate company Clean Max Rudra Private Limited to maintain its 26% stake, as part of a new Shareholders' Agreement and Energy Supply Agreement for a wind-solar hybrid power project at Kalikanagar, Rajkot, Gujarat, with 9.90 MVA wind and 7.34 MWp solar capacity. Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions holds the remaining 74%. This is on top of an earlier Rs. 11.38 crore investment in the same SPV.
The transactions are relatively small in size and largely represent follow-on investments into existing entities rather than new strategic moves. Shareholders may view the renewable energy tie-up positively as it supports Apar's green power sourcing goals, while the US subsidiary infusion signals continued commitment to its overseas conductors and cables expansion despite no revenue so far.
