Apollo Pipes reported FY2026 audited results with standalone revenue of Rs.8,874.45 lakh (down from Rs.9,256.88 lakh) and net profit of Rs.121.85 lakh, a steep 60% decline from Rs.308.19 lakh in FY2025. Consolidated net profit fell even more sharply to Rs.46.63 lakh from Rs.340.87 lakh. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs.0.70 per share (7% on face value). In governance changes, Mr. Sanjay Gupta (brother of MD Mr. Sameer Gupta) was appointed as Non-Executive Chairman effective May 8, 2026, while Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta resigned citing other professional commitments. The company also approved a Stock Appreciation Rights Scheme 2026 with a pool of 25 lakh units, subject to shareholder approval.
The sharp decline in profitability despite relatively stable revenues raises concerns about cost pressures or margin squeeze. The leadership transition within the promoter family and resignation of a director may create uncertainty. The dividend provides some return to shareholders despite lower profits.
