Omega Interactive Technologies announced two changes to its Statutory Auditor following a board meeting on April 7, 2025. M/s Desai Saksena & Associates resigned as Statutory Auditor effective March 31, 2025, about two years before their term was scheduled to end (March 31, 2027). The auditor stated the resignation was due to the management's decision to appoint a single 'group auditor' across all entities under the same management. M/s S S R V & Associates, a peer-reviewed Mumbai-based Chartered Accountancy firm founded in 2007, has been appointed as the new Statutory Auditor effective April 1, 2025, to serve until the next Annual General Meeting for FY 2024-25. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval. No concerns or disputes were flagged by the outgoing auditor.
This is a planned auditor rotation to consolidate auditing across the group's entities, not a contentious exit. While routine, mid-term auditor changes can sometimes raise minor governance questions, the smooth transition and clear rationale should limit any negative stock impact.
