Capricorn Systems Global Solutions reported a dramatic turnaround, with annual revenue surging to Rs. 2903.51 lakhs from just Rs. 100.81 lakhs in the previous year—a nearly 30-fold increase. The company swung from a net loss of Rs. 91.08 lakhs in FY25 to a net profit of Rs. 18.17 lakhs in FY26. The remarkable revenue growth was driven by a new business segment: Processing & Trading in Agri Products, which contributed Rs. 2796.81 lakhs to annual revenue (compared to zero last year). However, Q4 net profit was modest at Rs. 16.04 lakhs on revenue of Rs. 1647.14 lakhs. The company raised Rs. 233.54 lakhs (net) through a rights issue of 2.4 crore shares in February 2026. The auditors issued a clean (unmodified) opinion.
While the company returned to profitability and diversified into agri-products trading, the stock faces scrutiny due to massive negative operating cash flow of Rs. 2290.34 lakhs, driven largely by soaring trade receivables (Rs. 1722.72 lakhs increase). The new agri-products business carries significant working capital risk and the software development segment continues to be loss-making.
