Aptus Value Housing Finance India reported FY25 results with Assets Under Management growing 25% YoY to Rs. 10,865 crores, supported by 15% growth in disbursements to Rs. 3,604 crores. Net profit rose 23% YoY to Rs. 751 crores, while RoE improved to 18.76% from 17.25% and Opex ratio declined to 2.63%. However, RoA dipped to 7.73% (from 8.00%), spread marginally compressed to 8.70%, and Gross NPA rose slightly to 1.19%. The company expanded to 300 branches (38 added in FY25) and maintained healthy liquidity of Rs. 1,155 crores with capital adequacy of 70%. Management reiterated a multi-year target of Rs. 25,000 crore AUM by FY28 and guided credit costs at 40-45 basis points.
Solid profit growth, strong capital position (70% CRAR), and clear long-term growth targets are positive for shareholders, but slight RoA compression and a marginal NPA uptick are minor concerns. Overall, the results reinforce Aptus as a well-managed affordable housing finance franchise with a credible growth runway.
