Archidply Industries reported Q1 FY26 results with standalone revenue from operations of Rs 119.33 crore, up 8.9% year-on-year from Rs 109.55 crore in Q1 FY25. Standalone profit after tax grew 19.6% to Rs 3.01 crore (vs Rs 2.51 crore), with basic EPS of Rs 1.51. The plywood segment remained the biggest earner at Rs 84.20 crore in revenue with Rs 11.50 crore segment profit, while the MDF segment continued to post a small loss of Rs 0.17 crore. On a consolidated basis (including subsidiary Archidpanel Industries), revenue jumped 30.6% YoY to Rs 147.85 crore, driven by a sharp ramp-up in the MDF segment (Rs 31.43 crore vs Rs 9.65 crore). Consolidated PAT swung to a profit of Rs 0.57 crore from a loss of Rs 2.50 crore in Q1 FY25. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) limited review report on both sets of results, and the company confirmed there were no exceptional or extraordinary items during the period.
Consolidated revenue surged over 30% on strong MDF scaling, and the group returned to profitability after a loss in the year-ago quarter, which is a positive operational signal. However, the MDF segment is still loss-making at the operating level and consolidated margins remain thin, so investors should watch for sustained MDF turnaround and margin expansion in coming quarters.
