Arihant's Securities has submitted copies of newspaper advertisements of its audited financial results for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2026, published in Makkal Kural and Trinity Mirror on 30 May 2026, in line with SEBI disclosure rules. The results show a sharp year-on-year decline, with total income from operations falling to Rs 90.82 lakhs from Rs 129.19 lakhs in FY25. Net profit for FY26 dropped to Rs 23.26 lakhs from Rs 48.82 lakhs in the previous year, while Q4 FY26 alone swung to a net loss of Rs 29.28 lakhs. The company also reported an Other Comprehensive Income loss of Rs 159.34 lakhs due to a write-down in the value of its share holdings. A provision of Rs 8.17 lakhs was made for income tax, and Rs 4.65 lakhs (20% of profits) was transferred to the Special Reserve. A contingent income tax demand of Rs 19.17 lakhs for AY 2012-13 remains pending appeal.
This is a routine compliance filing, but the underlying numbers are weak: revenue is down nearly 30%, profit is more than halved, and the company is sitting on large mark-to-market losses on its investments. Shareholders should expect limited near-term upside and may want to monitor quarterly recovery in income.
