Arman Financial Services reported its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results along with several board decisions. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations fell to Rs 15,100.23 lakhs from Rs 18,442.58 lakhs in Q1 FY25, and the company swung to a loss after tax of Rs (1,458.41) lakhs compared to a profit of Rs 3,130.38 lakhs a year ago. The wholly-owned subsidiary Namra Finance drove the pain, posting a standalone net loss of Rs (2,766.04) lakhs. On a standalone basis, Arman remained profitable with PAT of Rs 1,244.99 lakhs (margin of 24.77%) and revenue growth of about 18%. The board also granted 8,100 stock options under the ESOP Plan 2023, re-appointed Vice Chairman & MD Jayendra Patel and Independent Director Yash Shah for 5-year terms from September 2026, and fixed September 29, 2025 for the 33rd AGM. Asset quality stayed comfortable with GNPA at 3.45% and NNPA at 0.51% on a consolidated basis.
Shareholders should note the sharp consolidated swing to loss is largely driven by the microfinance subsidiary Namra Finance, which raises concerns about that segment's near-term health despite stable asset quality. Standalone numbers remain healthy, and the board-level continuity and modest ESOP grant are routine — likely limited direct impact on the share price but worth watching for Namra's recovery trajectory.
