Artson Ltd swung to a loss of ₹1,222 lakhs in Q3 FY26 versus a profit of ₹638 lakhs in Q3 FY25, with EPS at ₹(3.31). Revenue from operations, however, jumped about 80% year-on-year to ₹3,196 lakhs in the quarter and roughly doubled to ₹12,483 lakhs for the nine-month period. The sharp loss was driven by a ₹525 lakh provision for long-outstanding receivables, a ₹436 lakh downward revenue adjustment from reassessment of old claims, and a one-time ₹61 lakh gratuity charge from the new labour code. The company disclosed significant accumulated losses and a going-concern assessment that relies on financial and operational support from its holding company, Tata Projects Ltd. Auditor Price Waterhouse & Co Chartered Accountants LLP issued an unmodified limited review opinion.
Despite strong top-line growth, the swing to deep losses, large provisions on receivables, and an explicit going-concern note flag serious operational stress for shareholders, though the backing of Tata Projects provides a safety net. The stock is likely to see a negative reaction given the quality of earnings concerns.
