Euro Ceramics Ltd has gone through a liquidation process under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, and Jaquar And Company Pvt Ltd was declared the successful bidder in the e-auction. The NCLT Mumbai Bench, by order dated 13 August 2025, has approved extinguishment of all existing paid-up equity capital and delisting of the company from stock exchanges. The new buyer intends to run the company as a going concern but as an unlisted entity, with all prior liabilities, debts, penalties, and non-compliance issues of the old company deemed fully extinguished. The company has applied to BSE and SEBI to give effect to the delisting and capital extinguishment.
This is effectively a total loss for existing shareholders of Euro Ceramics — their shares will be extinguished and the company will be delisted, leaving them with no exit value. The stock will lose all liquidity and trading value once the extinguishment is implemented.
