Satiate Agri Ltd (formerly Shaba Chemicals Limited) reported zero revenue from operations for Q3 FY25 (quarter ended 31/12/2024) and for the nine-month period, with only minor other income of ₹0.30 lakh in Q3 and ₹0.60 lakh in 9M FY25. The company posted a small net loss of ₹0.32 lakh in Q3 FY25, slightly improved from a ₹0.38 lakh loss in Q3 FY24. However, the 9M FY25 net loss ballooned to ₹56.70 lakhs, sharply worse than a ₹1.20 lakh loss in 9M FY24, driven almost entirely by exceptional items of ₹56.70 lakhs. For reference, the company had reported total revenue of ₹20.40 lakhs and a net loss of ₹11.78 lakhs for the full FY24. The auditor (AAAM & Co. LLP) issued a clean, unqualified review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Zero operating revenue for two consecutive quarters and reliance on small other income to cover expenses is a serious red flag for shareholders, suggesting the company's core business is effectively inactive. The large exceptional item inflating 9M losses warrants scrutiny into its nature, and investors should treat the stock with extreme caution given the lack of operational revenue.
