Asarfi Hospital reported strong Q1 FY26 results, with consolidated revenue up 56% year-on-year to ₹3,568 lakhs and consolidated PAT more than doubling to ₹312 lakhs (up 115% YoY). Standalone PAT grew 109% YoY to ₹320 lakhs, with EBITDA margin holding at 20%. Patient volumes rose 40% YoY to 36,933, while occupancy at the Super-Specialty unit improved to 64% (from 57%) and at the Cancer Hospital to 42% (from 24%). The company operates 315 beds (262 effective) across two hospitals in Dhanbad. The presentation also highlights a new MoU with Gleneagles Hospital Chennai to set up Jharkhand's first Multi-Organ Transplant Unit. FY25 ROCE stands at 14% with debt-to-equity at 0.6.
Strong topline growth and rising occupancy at the newer Cancer Hospital show operational momentum, which may support the stock; however, sequentially EBITDA margin dipped from Q4 levels and the multi-organ transplant unit still awaits state approval, so near-term catalysts depend on execution.
