Asgard Alcobev's subsidiary CMJ Breweries has entered a 3-year exclusive contract manufacturing agreement with Brews & Bliss LLP to produce and distribute Mohan Meakin's iconic Golden Eagle Beer portfolio across the North East region and Bhutan. CMJ will manufacture four variants — Golden Eagle Strong, Golden Eagle Mild, Golden Eagle Premium Strong, and Golden Eagle Premium Mild — at its facility in Byrnihat, Meghalaya, covering 9 territories including Meghalaya, Assam, Tripura, Nagaland and others. The deal runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029, with a 12-month lock-in period tied to minimum guaranteed production volumes. BBL handles sales, working capital funding and market coordination, while CMJ provides end-to-end brewing, bottling, storage and quality assurance. CMJ already manufactures for major brands like Kingfisher, Tuborg, Simba and Asia 72, making this a credibility-boosting addition.
This is a meaningful revenue visibility win for Asgard Alcobev as it pivots from paper into alcoholic beverages, adding an exclusive territory partnership around a 170-year-old legacy brand. Expect positive sentiment given the multi-year commitment, but the actual financial contribution will depend on volume offtake and is not quantified in the release.
