Ashok Leyland reported strong full-year results for FY2025-26. Standalone revenue from operations grew 13.6% to ₹44,007 Crores from ₹38,753 Crores, while consolidated revenue increased 16.1% to ₹56,362 Crores from ₹48,535 Crores. Standalone PAT rose 7.9% to ₹3,566 Crores and consolidated PAT grew 10% to ₹3,721 Crores. The Board declared a second interim dividend of ₹2.50 per share, bringing total dividend for FY26 to ₹3.50 per share. Exceptional items of ₹348 Crores (standalone) and ₹384 Crores (consolidated) primarily reflect a one-time charge of ₹308 Crores related to new Labour Codes implementation, impacting profitability. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion with no qualifications.
Positive revenue and profit growth with expanding margins; however, one-time labour code provisions partially offset earnings gains. The dividend payout signals management confidence. Debt levels reduced significantly from ₹1,228 Crores to ₹1,002 Crores, strengthening the balance sheet.
