The board of Asia Capital Ltd, a BSE-listed NBFC, approved its audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. Total income rose to ₹58.29 lakhs from ₹54.45 lakhs, while profit after tax jumped to ₹30.02 lakhs from ₹20.46 lakhs, a ~47% increase year-on-year. EPS improved to ₹0.97 from ₹0.66. Total assets stood at ₹669 lakhs with borrowings of ~₹151 lakhs. The statutory auditors (Shankarlal Jain & Associates LLP) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The board also appointed Ms. Pranita Lakhani as Secretarial Auditor for FY25 and accepted the resignations of Independent Director Mr. Nirav Mamniya (effective May 1, 2025) and Director Mr. Manoj Jain (effective June 30, 2025).
Clean audit and ~47% growth in net profit are positive signals for shareholders. However, two director resignations and a decline in core interest income (from ₹54.28L to ₹47.99L) are worth watching. Overall, the results are modestly positive for a small-cap NBFC.
