ASM Technologies posted standalone revenue of Rs. 1,390.59 million for Q2 FY26, up 171% YoY from Rs. 513.26 million, and Rs. 2,481.80 million for H1 FY26, up 154% YoY. Standalone profit after tax jumped to Rs. 361.52 million in H1 FY26 from Rs. 71.47 million a year ago, while consolidated PAT rose to Rs. 346.93 million from Rs. 47.75 million. Standalone EPS for H1 FY26 reached Rs. 24.76 versus Rs. 6.05 earlier. Much of the surge is inorganic — driven by the November 2024 NCLT-approved merger of ASM Digital Engineering and the addition of R V Forms & Gears LLP, which filled the manufacturing segment with Rs. 1,387.49 million standalone revenue versus nil in H1 FY25. The board declared a 2nd interim dividend of Rs. 1 per share. Operating cash flow also flipped strongly positive to Rs. 425.86 million standalone.
Headline growth is spectacular, but a large chunk comes from acquisitions and the merger rather than pure organic expansion, so investors should read this with that context. The dividend and improved cash generation are positives, while weak subsidiaries in Singapore and Japan (liabilities exceed assets) remain a small watch-item despite management's going-concern assurance.
