Aspira Pathlab reported a strong turnaround for FY25 with revenue from operations jumping to ₹2,199.90 lakhs from ₹1,320.49 lakhs in FY24, a growth of about 66%. The company swung to a profit after tax of ₹207.26 lakhs in FY25, compared to a loss of ₹267.22 lakhs in the previous year. For Q4 FY25 alone, revenue grew to ₹577.67 lakhs from ₹381.79 lakhs, with PAT of ₹72.33 lakhs versus a loss earlier. Consolidated FY25 PAT stood at ₹202.26 lakhs after factoring in a ₹5 lakh share of loss from associate Aspira DNA Diagnostics Gujarat LLP. The auditor (Sarda Soni Associates LLP) issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results, and the company generated positive operating cash flow of ₹187.70 lakhs. The board also approved the re-appointment of Dr. Pankaj Shah as MD & CEO for three years starting August 2025, subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot.
This is a significant positive for shareholders — the company moved from a loss-making position to solid profitability with strong revenue growth and improved cash generation, suggesting a genuine business turnaround in the diagnostics segment. The re-appointment of the existing MD & CEO provides continuity in strategy.
