Aspira Pathlab reported a sharp deterioration in Q3 FY26 (quarter ended Dec 31, 2025). Revenue from operations fell to ₹511.88 lakhs, down about 37% from ₹809.28 lakhs in the same quarter last year. The company swung to a loss after tax of ₹156.12 lakhs, compared to a profit of ₹183.54 lakhs in Q3 FY25, dragging basic EPS to negative ₹1.52. On a nine-month basis, revenue grew around 14% to ₹1,845.96 lakhs, but profit after tax declined about 45% to ₹74.03 lakhs from ₹135.02 lakhs. Total expenses in Q3 rose to ₹680.95 lakhs versus ₹639.69 lakhs last year, despite lower sales, showing clear cost pressure. Statutory auditor Sarda Soni Associates issued an unmodified limited review opinion with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Weak Q3 performance with a sudden swing to loss and steep revenue decline is likely to weigh negatively on the stock in the near term, though the nine-month period remains profitable. Investors should also note the proposed ₹5 crore related party transaction with Yashraj Research Foundation, which requires shareholder approval.
