The Board of Associated Ceramics Ltd approved the unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter ended 30th June, 2025. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 1,281.07 lakhs, up about 43% from Rs 895.27 lakhs in Q1 FY25, driven by strong growth in both Refractory Items (Rs 1,257.73 lakhs vs Rs 891.59 lakhs) and a sharp jump in Solar Energy segment (Rs 23.34 lakhs vs Rs 3.67 lakhs). However, profit before tax fell to Rs 97.34 lakhs from Rs 157.69 lakhs and profit after tax declined to Rs 72.84 lakhs (from Rs 116.69 lakhs), as total expenses grew much faster (up ~63% YoY). EPS stood at Rs 3.56 versus Rs 5.71 in the same quarter last year. Statutory auditor Sanjay Gulab & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications.
Shareholders see strong top-line momentum, especially from the Refractory and new Solar Energy businesses, but margins are under pressure with PAT falling nearly 38% YoY despite higher revenue. The stock may react mixedly - positive on growth story, cautious on profitability squeeze and rising cost base.
