Astal Laboratories submitted its Q4 FY2025-26 Monitoring Agency Report filed by Acuité Ratings and Research. The report covers a preferential issue of 3,04,25,632 equity shares at ₹91 per share, totalling approximately ₹276.87 crore. The shares were issued via a share swap to acquire Sriven Pharmachem India Private Limited. The issue was revised from an original 3,04,58,187 shares due to the disqualification of one shareholder (Ms. Niharika Bansal) under SEBI regulations, whose 32,555 shares were settled in cash instead. The monitoring agency confirmed no deviation from the stated objects of the issue, and the full utilisation of proceeds has been completed. In-principle and listing approvals from BSE have been received.
Shareholders can note that the preferential issue proceeds have been fully deployed as intended with no deviations, and the acquisition of Sriven Pharmachem is complete. The company is now pursuing its stated goal of becoming a fully integrated pharmaceutical manufacturer.
