Astra Microwave Products delivered strong Q4 FY26 results with standalone revenue of Rs. 487 Cr (up 20% YoY) and PAT of Rs. 105 Cr (up 40% YoY). Full-year FY26 standalone revenue stood at Rs. 1,156 Cr with EBITDA margin expanding to 28.0% from 25.5% in FY25. The company reported a robust order book of Rs. 2,141 Cr as of March 2026, with top 10 FY26 orders worth Rs. 657 Cr, predominantly from defence (54%) and exports (33%). The Board has given in-principle approval for demerging the Space, Meteorology and Hydrology business into a separate entity. Management transition is planned with current MD S. Gurunatha Reddy stepping down on September 30, 2026, to be succeeded by Dr. M.V. Reddy.
Strong margin expansion and healthy order book provide earnings visibility. The proposed demerger could unlock value for shareholders by creating a focused Space/Meteorology entity. The management succession adds stability with a clear transition timeline.
