Astra Microwave's joint venture company, Astra Rafael Comsys Private Limited, has bagged a Rs. 275.27 crore (including taxes) order from the Indian Air Force on January 8, 2026. The order covers three items: integration of Software Defined Radio (SDR) on MiG-29 aircraft, installation of Network Centric Application (NCO) on MiG-29 aircraft, and procurement of 24 SDRs for LCA Mk-1A aircraft. The contract is domestic and must be executed within 12 months. The order is not a related party transaction, and there is no promoter interest in the awarding entity. Astra Microwave has confirmed it will receive a portion of the business from this order through its JV.
