Astra Microwave Products reported a strong Q1 FY26. Standalone revenue from operations grew to Rs. 197.26 crore, up about 28% from Rs. 153.95 crore in Q1 FY25. Standalone profit after tax jumped to Rs. 12.99 crore from Rs. 5.23 crore a year earlier (nearly 2.5x), with EPS rising to Rs. 1.37 from Rs. 0.55. Consolidated revenue rose to Rs. 199.73 crore and consolidated PAT climbed to Rs. 16.27 crore from Rs. 7.20 crore. The company has a healthy order book of Rs. 1,890.95 crore standalone and Rs. 2,236.19 crore consolidated, with Rs. 137.80 crore of new orders booked during the quarter. The Board also approved the appointment of L.D. Reddy & Co. as Secretarial Auditor for five years, alterations to the MOA/AOA, and the 34th AGM for September 17, 2025. The auditor (Price Waterhouse) issued an unmodified limited review report.
A strong quarter with double-digit revenue growth and sharply higher profits signals robust demand in Astra's defence/RF-microwave business and provides a positive start to FY26. Shareholders also benefit from a sizable order pipeline and the recent Rs. 174 crore convertible warrant issue, which strengthens the balance sheet, though potential share dilution from warrant conversion should be noted.
