Aten Papers & Foam Limited's board, meeting on 14th November 2025, approved the unaudited H1 FY26 financial results (half year ended 30 September 2025). Revenue from operations grew to Rs. 6,675.72 lakhs from Rs. 5,817.45 lakhs in H1 FY25, a rise of about 14.7%. However, profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 227.11 lakhs from Rs. 381.66 lakhs YoY (~40% decline), and EPS dropped to Rs. 2.56 from Rs. 5.45, mainly due to higher total expenses. The company recently got listed on BSE's SME platform on 20 June 2025 via an IPO of 33 lakh shares at Rs. 96 each (Rs. 10 face value + Rs. 86 premium), which significantly boosted reserves (Rs. 3,418.63 lakhs vs Rs. 704.38 lakhs) and cash on hand (Rs. 3,859.17 lakhs vs Rs. 2.28 lakhs). The auditor (Milind Niyati & Co. LLP) issued an unqualified limited review report. No investor complaints were pending.
Mixed signals for shareholders: top-line growth is healthy post-IPO, but profitability has weakened notably with PAT nearly halving YoY. The strengthened balance sheet and cash position from IPO proceeds provide growth runway, but margin pressure is a concern that may weigh on short-term sentiment.
