Athena Global Technologies reported standalone Q3 FY26 revenue of Rs. 223.76 lakhs (up 41% YoY from Rs. 158.23 lakhs) but the 9M FY26 revenue stayed flat at Rs. 706.21 lakhs. The company swung to a standalone Q3 profit of Rs. 348.36 lakhs (vs loss of Rs. 503.91 lakhs in Q3 FY25), largely driven by a one-time Rs. 2,339.75 lakh gain on derecognition of an investment property through a perpetual lease. Without this non-recurring gain, the 9M FY26 standalone result remained in loss at Rs. (300.99) lakhs, though narrower than the prior year loss of Rs. (1,221.57) lakhs. On a consolidated basis, 9M FY26 revenue fell sharply by about 39% to Rs. 780.04 lakhs and the loss widened to Rs. (957.12) lakhs. The board also approved issue of up to 7 lakh convertible warrants on a preferential basis to the promoter group and re-appointment of Mr. M. Satyendra as Chairman & MD for three years.
The headline Q3 profit is not from core operations and is essentially a one-time accounting gain from a property lease deal, so it should not be seen as a turnaround in the underlying software services business. Revenue continues to decline at the consolidated level and losses persist. The preferential warrant issue to the promoter group signals promoter confidence but will dilute existing shareholders if converted.
