Ather Energy reported strong Q4 FY26 with 83K units sold (up 76% YoY) and total income of ₹1,214 Cr, while FY26 saw 263K units sold and ₹3,823 Cr in total income. Adjusted Gross Margin improved to 24% for FY26 (up 500 bps YoY) and 25% in Q4 FY26 (up 700 bps YoY), driven by COGS reduction of ₹19,000 per unit. EBITDA margin turned significantly to -2.5% in Q4 (up 2,080 bps YoY) and -6.7% for FY26 (up 1,630 bps YoY). The company doubled its Experience Centres to 700 and Service Centres to 548 during the year, while growing market share from 7.6% in Q1 FY25 to 18.6% in Q4 FY26. A new EL scooter platform was introduced to expand into the mass premium segment, with Factory 3.0 in Auric (10 lakh annual capacity) commencing in Q3 FY27.
Ather demonstrated strong operational execution with margin expansion and market share gains across all regions. The improving EBITDA trajectory and gross margin gains indicate progress toward profitability, though near-term commodity headwinds (precious metals up 103%, aluminium up 41%) remain a watch item. The stock is gaining national market share rapidly.
