Ather Energy has doubled its authorised service centre network to 500 across India in FY26, up from 277 centres at the start of the fiscal year. Of these, 82 centres offer ExpressCare, a 60-minute periodic maintenance service, and select 'Gold Service Centres' feature modern customer lounges and advanced equipment. The expansion supports the company's plan to scale to 700 Experience Centres by FY26, with 600 already operational as of December 31, 2025. The growth is driven by rising demand for the Ather 450 performance scooters and the Rizta family scooter line. Ather also operates India's largest two-wheeler fast-charging network with over 4,357 charging points globally.
The rapid service network expansion signals strong confidence in growing scooter sales and should boost customer confidence and retention, supporting Ather's competitive position against rivals like Ola Electric and Bajaj. For shareholders, it reflects aggressive scaling that could drive future revenue, though it also means higher capital and operating costs in the near term.
