Ather Energy Limited reported audited FY2026 results with revenue from operations of ₹3,671.76 crore, up 45% from ₹2,534.36 crore in FY2025. However, the company continues to incur losses with loss before tax of ₹517.17 crore (FY2026) compared to ₹812.28 crore (FY2025), showing significant improvement in operating performance. Net loss for FY2026 stands at ₹516.75 crore. The Board re-appointed Deloitte Haskins & Sells as statutory auditors for a second term of five years, subject to shareholder approval. The company completed its IPO in May 2025 raising ₹2,626 crore and has ₹1,617 crore of unutilised IPO proceeds. The auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no qualifications. An exceptional item of ₹5.04 crore was recorded due to new labour code implementation affecting gratuity and compensated absences.
Revenue growth demonstrates strong business momentum, and narrowing losses indicate improving unit economics. However, persistent losses mean the company is still in pre-profitability stage despite being a listed entity. The clean audit opinion and healthy cash position (₹111.94 crore cash + ₹711.21 crore liquid investments) provide some comfort to shareholders.
