Century Plyboards reported FY25 standalone revenue from operations of ₹4,06,791 lakhs, up about 8% from ₹3,75,857 lakhs in FY24, driven mainly by the Plywood segment (₹2,49,113 lakhs). However, standalone net profit fell roughly 10% to ₹28,456 lakhs (from ₹31,474 lakhs), and EPS dropped to ₹12.81 from ₹14.17. Q4 standalone net profit came in at ₹7,112 lakhs, down about 8% year-on-year. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew around 16.5% to ₹4,52,780 lakhs, but net profit declined sharply by about 43% to ₹18,608 lakhs, weighed down by an exceptional item of ₹1,333 lakhs and higher depreciation and finance costs. The Board has recommended a final dividend of ₹1 per share (100% on face value of ₹1). The company also incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Century Ply Furniture Fittings Ltd, in February 2025. Auditor S.R. Batliboi & Co LLP issued an unmodified opinion.
Despite healthy revenue growth, the sharp fall in profits, margin compression, and the exceptional charge suggest rising cost pressure, which may weigh on near-term sentiment. However, a 100% dividend and continued top-line growth offer some comfort for shareholders.
