Aurobindo Pharma has signed a binding agreement on July 29, 2025 to transfer its Czech Republic step-down subsidiary CuraTeQ Biologics s.r.o. from Helix Healthcare B.V. (Netherlands) to Curateq Biologics B.V. (Netherlands), both wholly owned arms of the company. The deal is part of verticalising the biologics and biosimilars business under CuraTeQ Biologics Private Limited. Consideration is EUR 3 million (about Rs. 30.3 crore) in cash for 100% of the shares, with completion targeted by August 31, 2025. CuraTeQ SRO had nil turnover for the last three years and a net worth of Rs. 20.7 crore as of March 31, 2025.
This is an internal reshuffle among Aurobindo's wholly owned subsidiaries, so there is no impact on the company's consolidated financials or shareholders. It is a structural move to streamline the biologics business under one Dutch entity and is unlikely to move the stock price.
