Aurum PropTech shared its Q1 FY26 investor presentation showing total income growth of 29% year-on-year to ₹77 crore, up from ₹60 crore in Q1 FY25. The Rental segment led with ₹48 crore revenue (31% growth), Distribution grew 36% to ₹19 crore (excluding divested businesses Beyondwalls and Kylas), while Capital segment fell 67% to ₹2 crore. PBT margin improved sharply by 852 basis points to -14.0%, and EBITDA margin expanded by 826 bps to 28.4%, though the company remains loss-making at the bottom line (₹10.02 crore loss vs ₹10.70 crore loss last year). The biggest highlight is the board's approval to acquire 100% of PropTiger from REA India via an all-stock equity swap, with REA India becoming a 5.5% shareholder in Aurum PropTech. The company also secured SEBI registration for its SM REIT (AMSA SM REIT), targeting the ₹50,000 crore+ SM REIT-able supply opportunity by FY26.
Margin trajectory is improving meaningfully and the PropTiger acquisition significantly expands the distribution business and developer relationships, which is positive for long-term growth. However, the company is still loss-making at the PAT level and the equity-swap acquisition will dilute existing shareholders, so near-term stock reaction may be mixed despite the strategic logic.
