Avantel Limited has submitted to the stock exchanges copies of newspaper clippings (Business Standard in English and Prajasakti in Telugu) published on June 10, 2025. The notice informs shareholders that the final dividend for FY2017-18 which has remained unclaimed for seven years will be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). Equity shares on which dividends have been unclaimed for seven consecutive years will also be transferred to the IEPF Authority, as required under the IEPF (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016. Individual notices are being sent to the affected shareholders, with their full details made available on the company's website at www.avantel.in. Shareholders holding shares in physical form will have duplicate share certificates issued and transferred to IEPF, while those holding in demat form will have their accounts debited. The deadline to submit a valid claim is August 20, 2025, after which the transfer to IEPF will proceed without further notice.
This is a routine regulatory compliance filing and is not expected to move the share price. Shareholders who have not claimed their Avantel dividends since FY2017-18 should act before August 20, 2025 to avoid losing their shares and unclaimed dividends to the IEPF — they can still reclaim these later by filing Form IEPF-5 with the company.
