Avenue Supermarts (DMart) reported strong Q4FY26 results with total revenue of Rs.17,205 crore, up 19% year-on-year. Net profit grew 16.9% to Rs.725 crore, while EBITDA rose 25.5% to Rs.1,231 crore. The company added 58 stores in Q4, reaching the milestone of 500 stores. For the full year FY26, revenue stood at Rs.66,968 crore (up 15.9%) and PAT at Rs.3,224 crore (up 10.1%). EBITDA margins improved in Q4 (7.2% vs 6.8% last year) but were slightly compressed for FY (7.8% vs 7.9%). The company noted geopolitical tensions caused a temporary spike in March consumer buying that normalized by month-end, with no major supply chain disruptions.
The results show healthy top-line and bottom-line growth with margin expansion in Q4, indicating strong operational performance. The 500-store milestone and robust store additions support long-term growth prospects, though PAT margin compression for the full year warrants monitoring.
