Avro India Limited has provided an update on its plastic recycling capacity expansion. Back in January 2025, the company had announced plans to double its plastic recycling capacity from 500 MT per month to 1000 MT per month. As of May 26, 2025, the two new extruder machines have been purchased and installed, and trial runs have been completed. However, commercial production from the expanded capacity is yet to begin, indicating a delay in realizing the planned capacity addition.
Shareholders should note that while the capital investment has been made and the equipment is ready, revenue contribution from the doubled capacity remains pending. A delay in starting commercial production could modestly affect near-term growth expectations, but the infrastructure is largely in place awaiting go-live.
