Awfis Space Solutions reported Q1FY26 operating revenue of ₹335 crore, up 30% year-on-year. Operating EBITDA margin expanded sharply by 710 basis points to 37.8%, driven by enterprise client growth, allied services, and operating efficiencies. Profit after tax more than tripled to ₹10 crore from ₹3 crore in Q1FY25. Operationally, seat capacity grew 40% YoY to 1,40,186 seats across 220 centres, with the 100+ seat cohort contributing 59% of the total portfolio. Tier 2 city presence rose ~25%, and occupancy stood at 84% for mature centres (12+ months vintage) and 73% overall. On an IGAAP equivalent basis, EBITDA margin improved to 14.5% from 11.5%, and PBT rose to ₹25 crore from ₹15 crore YoY.
Strong revenue growth, significant margin expansion, and a sharp jump in profitability signal healthy business momentum and improving unit economics, which are positive for shareholder sentiment. The planned resumption of expansion in H2FY26 and continued enterprise demand could support further growth, though investors should watch for occupancy trends and execution of new centres.
