B & A Limited's board approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended 31 March 2025. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations fell to Rs. 13,431.26 lakh from Rs. 16,202.36 lakh (~17% decline), and full-year profit dropped to Rs. 197.35 lakh from Rs. 304.90 lakh. Q4 standalone revenue rose to Rs. 1,456.35 lakh but the company posted a quarterly loss of Rs. 1,208.31 lakh. Consolidated revenue declined to Rs. 26,435.04 lakh from Rs. 29,011.20 lakh and consolidated PAT fell to Rs. 1,102.49 lakh from Rs. 1,396.66 lakh, with the tea segment swinging to a small loss while the packaging segment remained profitable. Operating cash flow turned sharply negative, with standalone cash used in operations of Rs. 905.95 lakh and consolidated Rs. 282.98 lakh. Current borrowings rose ~55% to Rs. 4,922.46 lakh. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion.
Mixed picture for shareholders: annual PAT is still positive but declining, Q4 standalone losses continue, the core tea segment turned loss-making for FY25, and operating cash flow has gone negative with rising short-term debt, which may concern investors despite the clean audit opinion.
