B.L. Kashyap and Sons reported strong revenue growth but declining profitability for FY2026. Standalone revenue surged 89% to Rs 13,479 lakhs from Rs 7,143 lakhs, while consolidated revenue grew 20% to Rs 1,37,914 lakhs from Rs 1,15,364 lakhs. However, consolidated profit after tax collapsed 94% to just Rs 155 lakhs from Rs 2,748 lakhs in FY25. Standalone PAT grew marginally by 3.4% to Rs 3,692 lakhs. The company recorded exceptional items of Rs 3,782 lakhs including Rs 2,000 lakhs in additional provisions for Right of Recompense to CDR lenders and Rs 176 lakhs written off from contract assets per arbitration settlement. Consolidated operating cash flow was negative at Rs 972 lakhs. Auditors issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated results.
Despite near-doubling of standalone revenue, the 94% collapse in consolidated profit and negative operating cash flow signals severe cost pressures and exceptional write-offs that could significantly impact the stock negatively.
